Springfield Regional School of Nursing (SRSN), formerly The Community Hospital School of Nursing (CHSN), is a proud affiliate of Community Mercy Health Partners (CMHP). CMHP provides the area's most comprehensive range of health care services for infants, children, teens, adults and senior citizens. The School of Nursing offers a two-year, hospital-based registered nursing program with emphasis on clinical experience. Our graduates are prepared for the Registered Nursing Licensing Examination and a career in nursing. Students are also awarded an Associate of Arts in Health Science by completing a residency with Urbana University, our partner in education.
Springfield Regional School of Nursing has proudly served the City of Springfield, Clark County and the surrounding area since 1904. More than 2,800 women and men have completed their Nursing program at SRSN. During their studies, many of them lived on the dorm floors of Miller Hall (pictured) which also holds classrooms, faculty and administrative offices as well as other facilities for the school. SRSN will be graduating its last class in May 2012. The RN program will be transitioned to Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio. Visit our History page for more information on our school and the new hospital which opened on November 13, 2011.
